Base on colleague recommendation, definitely worth time and $. Might be our future hangout place 😅 Food wise, all of us agreed it’s good for such wallet friendly pricing 😜 But 1 item that we all luv very much…. baguette with cream cheese 😍 next time each of us will have individual serving 😅 Update 24th Aug: Another day with splendid foods 😍 Take note, restaurant getting more popular…. Long Que during peak lunch hours, so go early.

Good place for sake lovers. ideal for meeting up with friends and colleagues for drinks or meal. Good food, good selection of sake and affordable price. Operating from Monday to Saturday : 1130am - 1430pm and 5pm - 1030pm

Have been going to katanashi an for lunch once every few months since I started working in Telok Ayer in 2017. The food is great and the price is so reasonable. Over the years, many eateries in Telok Ayer have increased their prices, but Katanashi An has kept their prices the same. My favourite to order from there is the Hokkaido set, the salmon ikura don, or the fried chicken. There are a few ways to eat it, with dry or pour the dashi to make dashi chazuke. The place is small so have to go make reservations or go early before the lunch crowd. It opens at 1130am on weekdays.

1st time trying this Japanese tapas place. We ordered about 10 items in totally. What I like is the chicken Karaage, fried chicken wings, and pork stew. The rest of the food are just ok for me. Overall for food, I give it a 3.5 stars. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the food are served pretty fast.

At the corner of Boon Tat and Amoy lays this cozy restaurant. The staff greeted us upon entering and showed us to our table following with asking if we'd like a drink first while we look at the menu. I ordered the Zuke Maguro and it was darn good. Presentation is pretty too. The tuna was fresh and in fairly thick slices. The rice still warm with a nice aroma. Tofu is as it is, soft but firm enough to be picked up by chopsticks. It was a good meal overall for lunch. Will visit again to try the other items

Decent japanese food with average price. The waitress serve 1 cup of plain water once we sit in. Limited seat but staff will help to find seat for us. The food was superb. No chance to try the drink. Food waiting time is acceptable. Overall is good!

Love the how cosy the place is. The food was really good and worth the money paid. Every single dish impressed me truly, I’ll definitely be back here again and recommend others to come.

Affordable and yummy lunch! Do make reservations as they can get pretty busy. Menu prices include GST and service, and it was refreshing knowing how much I would be paying. Seafood was fresh with no fishy tastes. You really can't go wrong with the selection! Hokkaido set - Monthly special ($20) 8/10 Loved the yummy seafood, and it was filling! Came with small side dishes of kinpira, and tofu. Kaki Fry (2pcs, $5) 8/10 Oysters were plump, and juicy. Couldn't taste the wasabi in the tartar sauce. Chicken Karaage (2pcs, $5) 8/10 Crispy skin, fat and juicy chicken. Featured as well is my friend's Tori mentai. The chicken skin was crisp. And look at that generous dollop of glorious mentai. I'll definitely be back!
